North Korea fired over 10 missiles from multiple launchers in the Sunan area near the capital Pyongyang this morning, which were aimed in a northwesterly direction, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the South Korean military, BTA reported.

The South Korean military did not provide further details.

The missiles used by the North Korean military are usually categorized by South Korea as short-range ballistic missiles.
