The US used "more than two dozen cruise missiles" to strike Iran's nuclear facility in Isfahan, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Kaine, said at a joint briefing with Pentagon chief Pete Hegsett.
"The Pentagon used seven B-2 Spirit bombers to strike Iran. Each of them had two crew members on board," he said. "The US military did not strike the military or the population of the Islamic Republic during the bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities. The US administration notified Congress of the strikes," Hegsett said. “But it is important to note that the operation was not directed against the Iranian military or the Iranian people“, the Pentagon chief said.
