General Sirsky: The Russian army has created its largest military formation in the Pokrovskoye direction

In the Pokrovskoye direction, the Russians have created the largest grouping of about 111 thousand personnel. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Sirsky, in Telegram, informing about a one-day working trip to this direction.

He noted that the Pokrovskoye direction remains the hottest point along the entire 1,200-kilometer length of the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war. According to him, at least fifty combat clashes take place there every day and it is there that "the Russians have created the largest grouping - about 111 thousand personnel“. The commander-in-chief said that the enemy does not stop trying to break through the administrative border of the Donetsk region.

"He wants to do this not only to achieve some operational results, but primarily for a demonstrative purpose. To achieve a psychological effect: he will put on the notorious "foot of a Russian soldier", he will plant a flag and blow the horn for another pseudo-"victory", said Syrsky.

He noted that two weeks ago, particularly active subversive and assault groups of Russians appeared here, but all of them were destroyed or neutralized, and the rest were thrown out of the administrative border. At the same time, he stressed that the situation is under control

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that he had communicated with Ukrainian soldiers in the immediate vicinity of the line of combat contact and along the next defense lines, and also held meetings in the units of the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine.

"I had the opportunity to study the operational situation in detail, to understand all the problematic moments. He gave the orders necessary for the effective implementation of defense tasks“, he added.

Putin's statement about "the feet of a Russian soldier“

As UNIAN reported, the other day Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg that all territories on which Russian troops have set foot are considered Russian. He emphasized that he considers Ukrainians and Russians to be "one nation“ and in this sense, all of Ukraine is “ours“:

During his speech, Putin accused Ukraine and the West of starting the war. According to him, Russia's Western opponents and Ukrainian “neo-Nazis“ literally “forced“ Moscow to recognize the pseudo-independence of “DNR/LNR“ and to provide them with armed support.

The Russian leader stated that the Russian Federation had tried to negotiate peacefully, but Ukraine's “partners“ had started the war only to pump it up with weapons and continue hostilities.
