US President Donald Trump said on Monday that it would likely be clear within 24 hours whether the Palestinian militant group "Hamas" would accept what he called the "final offer" for a ceasefire with Israel in Gaza, Reuters reported, quoted by bTA.
The president also said he had spoken with Saudi Arabia about expanding the Abraham Accords, which were concluded to normalize relations between Israel and some Gulf countries and were negotiated with the mediation of his administration during his first term.
In response to a journalist's question whether the "Hamas" group had accepted the latest framework for a ceasefire agreement, Trump said: "We'll see what happens, we'll know within the next 24 hours“.
Trump said Tuesday that Israel had agreed to the necessary conditions for a 60-day ceasefire with “Hamas“, during which all sides would work to end the war.
