Russia attacked Ukraine with a record number of drones - 728, last night, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the Ukrainian Air Force today. 13 missiles were also fired against Ukrainian territory by Russian troops, the Ukrainian Air Force added, BTA reported.
Ukrainian forces destroyed 718 of the drones and 7 of the missiles, the publication in the "Telegram" application specifies.
US President Donald Trump is considering transferring another "Patriot" air defense system in Ukraine, the "Wall Street Journal" reported in the meantime, citing its sources.
As the newspaper notes, this could be the first major arms delivery to Ukraine, the decision on which was made by the current president's administration, and not by his predecessor Joe Biden, Reuters notes.
