Tehran has been and will be ready for talks on its nuclear program if the actions of the US and other countries do not lead to war when dialogue resumes, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.
“We have always been ready for dialogue on our nuclear program and will be ready in the future, but of course we need to get assurances that if negotiations resume, the actions of the US and other countries will not lead to war“, the minister said at a meeting with diplomatic representatives of various countries at the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
According to Araghchi, the US has changed its diplomatic approach, so if it wants to resume talks, Iran needs assurances that Washington will not act in the same way again.
