A small plane has crashed after takeoff from Southend Airport near London. According to the Daily Mail, the plane was a Beechcraft B200 business jet, traveling to the Netherlands.
According to the newspaper, the plane was supposed to take off at 15:45 local time (17:45 Bulgarian time), and the destination was the Dutch city of Lelystad.
There is no information yet on how many people were on board the twin-engine turboprop plane.
British media and social networks are publishing photos of a large fire and black smoke at the scene of the incident.
All flights from Southend have been canceled.
