Ukraine is ready to continue negotiations with Russia, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Szybiga said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA reports.
The agency notes that the minister did not name a specific date for negotiations.
Szybiga repeated Kiev's call for a meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, adding that this would be the most effective step to achieve a ceasefire.
"We are ready for such negotiations in any format and in any place," Szybiga said during a visit to the Polish city of Lublin.
