The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement on X on Wednesday that a military group known as the Yemeni National Resistance Forces (NRF) had captured "massive" Iranian arms shipment destined for the Houthis, Reuters reports.

The NRF is a force in Yemen led by Tareq Saleh, a nephew of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, that is fighting against the Houthis, and is not formally part of the internationally recognized government.

Yemeni forces "have seized over 750 tons of ammunition and equipment, including hundreds of advanced cruise, anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles, warheads and homing systems, components, as well as hundreds of drone engines, air defense equipment, radar systems and communications equipment," the statement added.
