The Palestinian armed group "Hamas" has vowed to engage in a prolonged conflict if the current ceasefire talks with Israel fail, "Reuters" reports.
The spokesman for the armed wing, Abu Ubaida, said that the group would not agree to a temporary truce or partial agreements in the future if a ceasefire agreement is not reached during the current talks. He accused Israel of intransigence.
"Hamas" has repeatedly offered to release all hostages held in Gaza and conclude an agreement to end the war, Abu Ubayda said.
However, the group again accused Israel of sabotaging the peace talks.
