Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh has arrived on an official visit to Kyrgyzstan, the Mongolian state agency MONTSAME reported, BTA reports.
The delegation led by Khurelsukh was welcomed at the Manas International Airport in Bishkek by Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov, Mongolian Ambassador to Bishkek Gankuyag Sodnom and Kyrgyz Ambassador to Ulan Bator Aibek Artykbayev. The ceremony was also attended by Kyrgyz artists who performed a cultural program in honor of the guests.
The purpose of the visit is to strengthen the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries, to deepen economic cooperation and to expand bilateral friendship between Mongolia and the countries of Central Asia, especially Kyrgyzstan.
A number of bilateral agreements are expected to be signed during the visit, which will contribute to expanding the legal basis of the partnership between the two countries.
