Approved! The US sells missiles to Bulgaria for its war fleet

The naval missile system comes in two versions - for strikes against ships and hitting targets on land

The US State Department has approved a potential sale to Bulgaria of naval cruise missiles and related equipment, Reuters reported.

The value of the deal is about $620 million. The prime contractor is the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace AS, the Pentagon said.

The naval missile system comes in two versions - for strikes against ships and hitting targets on land. Firing is possible from various platforms. The missiles are in service with Norway, Poland, Malaysia, Germany, the United States, Japan, Romania, Canada, Australia and Spain.
