Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the creation of a delegation that will participate in the third round of talks with Russia. The decision was announced on Tuesday, with Zelensky specifying that the delegation will be led by former Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and will include representatives of Ukrainian intelligence, the Foreign Ministry and the presidential administration, News.bg reports.

Although the president did not specify an exact date for the meeting, a day earlier he said, citing information from Umerov, that the talks are planned for Wednesday, July 23, in Turkey.

During a meeting held on Tuesday, Zelensky discussed the results of previous diplomatic efforts. Umerov reported on the progress of the agreements reached at the second meeting in Istanbul, as well as on the preparations for the next stage of the dialogue.

“Umerov reported on the implementation of the agreements reached at the second meeting with the Russian side in Istanbul and on a new meeting in the near future. Ukraine is ready to work as productively as possible to free our people from captivity, return the abducted children, as well as to stop the killings and prepare for a meeting of leaders to end this war“, Zelensky said.
