North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has urged his soldiers to prepare for a "real war", the North Korean news agency KCNA reported today, quoted by BTA.
Kim gave the order during an artillery drill that he personally attended.
Photos released by the KCNA show Kim speaking to soldiers. Other photos show him carefully observing the artillery fire, surrounded by several commanders from the North Korean army.
The location where yesterday's drill was held was not disclosed. The pictures show the shells flying towards the sea.
You must be able to "destroy the enemy in every battle," Kim told the soldiers.
