President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law on military service under a contract for persons who have reached the age limit for military service, Ukrinform reports, quoted by Focus.

The law allows persons who have reached the age limit, but are ready to continue serving, to conclude a military service contract, it was reported on the website of the Ukrainian parliament.

Citizens of Ukraine who have reached the age limit for being in the reserve may, at their request, re-register for military service if they have the written consent of the commander of the military unit to accept military service under a contract.
