The state is preparing a large package of measures to support citizens from September 1 and the first measure will be a reduction in the prices of basic products in stores, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced in an Instagram post, BTA reports.
„...We know very well what the inflation rate is and that is why we always strive to increase salaries and pensions significantly above this rate. But we know that it is not always easy and we understand perfectly well that there are a large number of workers who are somehow poorer. And what I am saying today refers precisely to those wonderful people who help Serbia progress with their work and who still do not live easily or live hard. "Let's help all citizens of Serbia, but also you, dear citizens, who live more difficultly than those who are, I would say, richer today. First of all, we will make sure that the prices of basic products in our stores are lower," Vučić said in a video posted on one of his official Instagram accounts.
