Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that he had approved the basic principles for major arms deals with the United States, Reuters reported, referring to his evening video address, BTA reported.
"These are large-scale agreements that I discussed with President Trump, and I very much hope that we will be able to implement all of them," the Ukrainian leader said, adding that this will strengthen both countries.
Zelensky did not provide further details.
