Explosions also echoed in Kiev. In July, the Russians occupied 564 sq. km. of Ukrainian territory

Three people were taken to hospital after a Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Nikolaev at around 10:00 p.m. last night, the head of the Nikolaev regional military administration, Vitaly Kim, reported, quoted by BNR, in the "Telegram" application.

Several other injured received medical assistance on the spot.

A residential area of Nikolaev was hit. A fire broke out after the attack. Emergency services are working to put out the fire and are conducting emergency and rescue operations.

Shortly after midnight, explosions also echoed in Kiev. The military administration announced that Russia had carried out another missile attack on the Ukrainian capital.

The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which is under Russian control, reported an attack on an auxiliary facility.

The International Atomic Energy Agency reported that its team at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine heard explosions and saw smoke not far from the complex. One of the station's auxiliary facilities was attacked 1,200 meters from its territory.

Ukrainian authorities in Kherson called on residents of one of the neighborhoods to evacuate after a Russian strike on a strategically important bridge, which has made supply difficult.

The pace of the Russian troops' advance is not slowing down, UNIAN writes. The agency adds that in July the Russians occupied 564 sq. km. Ukrainian territory.

A woman was wounded in the leg in a Ukrainian drone strike on the Russian city of Voronezh overnight, which set off several fires in residential and public buildings, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA, citing a statement from Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev today.

Russian air defenses have destroyed about 15 Ukrainian drones over the area, Gusev added on the Telegram app.

"The danger of drone attacks tonight remains," he said.

Reuters notes that Gusev's information could not be independently verified.

The Russian Defense Ministry said 41 Ukrainian army drones had been destroyed by midnight over Russian regions bordering Ukraine and over Russian waters in the Black Sea.
