The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that its observers located at the Russian-occupied Zaporozhye NPP heard explosions and saw smoke coming from a nearby facility on Saturday afternoon, the BBC reported.
This is an "auxiliary facility" of the nuclear power plant, located 1,200 meters outside its perimeter, the statement from the organization's director, Rafael Grossi, said.
The IAEA did not say who attacked the facility next to the nuclear power plant.
The Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is under regular shelling by both warring parties.
