Bodies of father and son found after plane crashes into sea

The tragedy took place off the Spanish island of Mallorca

The bodies of a pilot and his son have been found after their two-seater plane crashed into the sea off the Spanish island of Mallorca, police said on Sunday, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

The two-seater Team Rocket F-4 Raider crashed into the sea in the Puerto Soller area on Saturday evening.

The plane appeared to have been performing stunts before the crash, Spanish media reported.

"Specialized divers from the Civil Guard recovered the lifeless bodies of the pilot and his son, who was accompanying him, from a depth of 30 meters in the sea and they were transferred to Puerto Soller," the Spanish Civil Guard said in a statement.
