Putin and Netanyahu discussed the situation in the Middle East in a new phone conversation

The Russian president stressed Moscow's commitment to the peaceful resolution of regional conflicts

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov to journalists, TASS reported, quoted by Focus.

Earlier, Peskov had hinted at an upcoming international phone conversation in the Russian head of state's schedule.

The last communication between the two leaders took place on July 28, when they discussed the situation in the Middle East. Then President Putin emphasized that Russia consistently advocates for a peaceful resolution of conflicts in the region. He also expressed Moscow's readiness to facilitate negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program.
