One person was injured in a night drone attack in Odessa and the region, the chairman of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper reported on Telegram, BTA reports.
According to the regional governor, the injured person is a guard at a gas station who was injured by broken glass as a result of the blast wave.
„Damage was caused to a building of a sewage pumping station. In the suburbs of Odessa, the places hit by the attack caused a fire due to dry grass setting on fire,“ Kiper specified.
The firefighters managed to extinguish the flames and prevent greater damage.
According to official data from the 2001 census, the Bulgarians in the Odessa region number over 150,000, making them the third largest ethnic group in the region. About 50-60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odessa itself, and the largest compact Bulgarian population is in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
