Russian armed forces have captured the settlement of Lunacharskoye in Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine, over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry announced today, quoted by TASS, BTA reports.
The village, named after revolutionary and Soviet political figure Anatoly Lunacharsky, was renamed Fedorivka by Ukrainian authorities in 2016, Reuters recalls.
The agency specifies that it cannot independently confirm the information from the battlefield.
Lunacharskoye (Fedorivka) is located in Pokrovsky district, about ten kilometers north of the city of Pokrovsk, one of the main targets of the Russian army's offensive in the region.
