Hungary has been advocating for a ceasefire and peace talks for 3.5 years. This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto in X, Focus reports.

"Ukraine could have been better if Zelensky had done the same", his statement also said. According to Szijjarto, hundreds of thousands of lives could have been saved and millions would not have had to flee their homes.

Yesterday, the Hungarian Foreign Minister explained that his country has always insisted on a ceasefire, "even when we were subjected to behind-the-scenes attacks by European and former American political leaders".
