Kim Yo-jong, the influential sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, said peace overtures made by South Korea's new liberal government were "hoax".
She denied Pyongyang had taken reciprocal action, state news agency KCNA reported, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Kim also said North Korea would not sit at the table for dialogue with the United States, saying reports mentioning the possibility of such a development were "incorrect speculation", KCNA reported.
