Polish President, Prime Minister Discuss Ukraine with European Leaders and Trump

Discussions ahead of US, Russian Presidents' meeting focused on European stance and preparations for peace talks

Polish President Karol Nawrocki and Prime Minister Donald Tusk held separate discussions on Ukraine with European leaders and US President Donald Trump yesterday, a Polish government spokesman said, quoted by the Polish news agency PAP, BTA reports.

The first video conference, in which Tusk participated, included European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, with the main focus being on the European position ahead of Trump's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The second video conference, represented by Nawrotsky, brought together European leaders, Trump and Zelensky, with the aim of keeping the US president fully informed about the European position.

Trump is expected to meet with Putin tomorrow in Anchorage, Alaska, to discuss the war in Ukraine and possible peace talks.
