A total of 29 forest fires have been registered in the Republic of North Macedonia in the last 24 hours, the MIA agency reported. Two of them remain active, one is under control, and the rest have been extinguished, BTA reports.

The Crisis Management Center informed this morning that the active outbreaks are in the municipalities of Makedonski Brod and Jegunovce, in the northwestern part of the country. A mixed forest is burning in the “Jasen“ nature park, and pastures have been burned between the villages of Rogachevo and Jazhince.

The fire in the area of the villages of Devic and Greshnica in the municipality of Makedonski Brod has been brought under control, where the fire has destroyed low vegetation.
