The United Arab Emirates has categorically condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statements on the concept of “Greater Israel“, the WAM news agency reported, BTA reports.
In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the comments as provocative and stressed that they constitute a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter.
The Emirates stated that it rejects any threat to the sovereignty of Arab states and calls for an immediate cessation of inflammatory statements and actions by extremist elements in the Israeli government.
The ministry also emphasized the need to stop all settlement and territorial expansion plans that threaten regional stability and undermine the possibilities for peaceful coexistence between the peoples of the region.
