US President Donald Trump left for the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska, world agencies reported, quoted by BTA.
Trump left the White House in Washington early this morning and then boarded the presidential plane "Air Force One", which took off from "Andrews" Air Force Base in Maryland, is seen in footage broadcast by American television channels.
According to the US government schedule, Trump's plane will land at 11 a.m. local time (19:00 GMT) today in Anchorage, Alaska's largest city, where a major summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin will take place.
Trump will begin his bilateral program at 3 p.m. Eastern Time (19:00 GMT) and is expected to depart Anchorage back to Washington at 9:45 p.m. Eastern Time, according to the White House's daily schedule, CNN said.
