The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that the Russian armed forces have intercepted 300 drones launched from Ukraine, and have also struck Ukrainian "Sapsan" ballistic missile depots, Interfax news agency reported.
"Operational-tactical aviation, combat drones, servicemen and artillerymen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation grouping inflicted a defeat on a storage site for "Sapsan" ballistic missiles and equipment for them, ammunition depots and long-range drones, points for temporary deployment of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 142 districts," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement, quoted by TASS.
Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, reported on Telegram shortly after 12:00 local (and Bulgarian time), Ukrinform reported.
"Explosions were heard in some areas of Kharkiv. Preliminary reports indicate that the Kiev region was attacked by the enemy. State Emergency Service teams have been sent to the scene," Sinegubov wrote. There is currently no information about casualties.
