The Ukrainian president said today that Russia had struck a gas distribution station in the southern Odessa region, Reuters reported, BTA reported.

"All these strikes are demonstrative and only confirm the need to put pressure on Moscow, to impose new sanctions and tariffs until diplomacy yields full results," Volodymyr Zelensky wrote in "Ex".

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry, quoted by the Interfax news agency, reported that its forces had struck port infrastructure used to supply fuel to Ukrainian forces. The statement did not specify which port.

The Russian military also said its forces had captured the towns of Novogeorgievka in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Pankovka and Sukhetskoe in Donetsk.
