Oil supplies to Hungary through the "Druzhba" pipeline have been halted due to an attack near Russia's border with Belarus, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on the social network "Facebook", quoted by Reuters, BTA reported.

Szijjártó said the Hungarian government learned of the attack last night.

Unlike other European Union countries, Slovakia and Hungary remain dependent on Russian energy imports and receive most of their crude oil through "Druzhba".
