Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that negotiations on security guarantees for his country are progressing and the final developments will be presented "in the coming days", the BBC quoted him as saying.

Zelensky reported on Telegram that he had held a conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoff. The two discussed preparations for the meetings in Washington and Kiev's ongoing diplomatic efforts with international partners.

"Of course, we talked about our diplomatic work with partners and the meetings in Washington. We discussed security guarantees," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, teams from Ukraine, the United States and European partners are currently working "on their architecture." "All developments will be ready in the coming days," the Ukrainian leader added.

Zelensky reiterated that it is necessary to continue putting pressure on Moscow, which "does not demonstrate any intentions for peace," to change its position and agree to a high-level meeting to discuss "all issues."
