Ten drones were destroyed over the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region. There are no preliminary data on casualties, the governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko announced.
“On the morning of August 24, ten unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the port of Ust-Luga. Debris from the drones caused a fire. Firefighters and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working to extinguish the fire. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties“, he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The Air Defense Forces and the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense destroyed nine enemy drones over the Smolensk region overnight. There were no casualties or damage to infrastructure, the governor of the region, Vasily Anokhin, reported on his channel in the Max messenger.
“Today, our region was again attacked by Ukrainian drones. During the night, the air defense and Aerospace Forces of the Russian Defense Ministry destroyed nine drones over the territory of the Smolensk region. Thanks to the work of our servicemen, there were no casualties and no infrastructure facilities were damaged“, Anokhin wrote.
He noted that emergency services have been dispatched to the site of the wreckage. If parts of a drone are found, citizens should not approach them. The location of such debris should be reported to emergency services.
The facade of an apartment building and the glazing of several apartments were damaged as a result of a drone attack in the Sovetsky district of the city of Bryansk. This was reported on his Telegram channel by the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz.
“According to preliminary information, the facade and glazing of several apartments in the apartment building were damaged“, he wrote.
Bogomaz reported that there were no casualties as a result of the attack and emergency services are working.
