Three people have died and one is seriously injured after a helicopter used for flying lessons crashed on the English Isle of Wight, BNR reported.
Four people were on board the helicopter, Hampshire Police said. Three died and the fourth was transported to the main trauma center at University Hospital in Southampton, where he is in a serious condition.
Police said they could not yet provide further information about the injured, and that they could not comment on the circumstances surrounding the incident until the investigation is complete. The incident occurred during a very eventful long weekend, as Monday was also a day off on the Isle of Wight. One of them is the popular scooter rally, which attracts thousands of retro scooter owners to the island.
The local government, by the way, expressed gratitude to the helicopter pilot for managing to avoid a populated area during the incident.
