The President of the European Council Antonio Costa said today that he was horrified by another series of deadly Russian strikes on Kiev, which also damaged the building of the European Union representation, reported Agence France-Presse.
“My thoughts are with the Ukrainian victims, as well as with the staff of the EU representation, whose building was damaged by this deliberate attack by Russia“, Costa wrote on his profile in “Ex”.
“The EU will not allow itself to be intimidated. Russia's aggression only strengthens our resolve to support Ukraine and its people," he added.
"The EU Delegation building in Kiev was damaged by today's Russian strikes on civilian areas," said EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Cos in a post in "Ex".
"I strongly condemn these brutal attacks, which are a clear sign that Russia rejects peace and chooses terror. We express our full solidarity with the EU Delegation staff, their families and all Ukrainians who are suffering this aggression," she added, quoted by Reuters.
