A 12-year-old girl brandished a knife and an axe at two Bulgarians in the Scottish city of Dundee. A shocking clip of the incident sparked a wave of racist comments on social media, as it was initially reported that the girl was defending herself from illegal immigrants. However, instead of being arrested, she was detained on charges of possessing offensive weapons, NOVA reported.

The victim is 21-year-old Bulgarian citizen from Kazanlak, Ali Dubana. He said that he was going to the store when he was met by 4 girls. According to him, the girls behaved aggressively and therefore, on his way back from the store, he decided to call his sister. The girls insulted and threatened him.
„One of the children decided to call the emergency number in England for help. She said that I was stalking them and asking them for sexual favors. By law here I am not allowed to hit them, so I called my sister. One girl jumped into a fight, and the other started attacking us with a knife and an axe. When I saw him going with them to my sister, I pushed her to the ground,” Ali told NOVA.
According to him, when the police arrived, they reviewed the surveillance cameras, eyewitnesses gave statements and that is the reason he was not arrested.
