Russia attacks Dnipropetrovsk region, there are deaths

At least two people were killed in Russian drone strikes against the Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk region, and 8 others were injured, Ukrinform reported, citing a statement on "Telegram" by the head of the region, Serhiy Lysak, BTA reported.

A fire station and an infrastructure facility were damaged.

Two people were hospitalized in the city of Dnipro - a 46-year-old man in serious condition and a 69-year-old with moderately severe wounds. The fires have already been extinguished.

On Tuesday, Ukraine admitted for the first time that Russian troops had penetrated the Dnipropetrovsk region. Moscow announced that its forces had reached these areas back in July, Agence France-Presse recalls.
