Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet reached an agreement with US leader Donald Trump on a trilateral or separate bilateral meeting with Vladimir Zelensky. This was reported to VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin by the aide to the Russian president Yuri Ushakov, Focus reports.
He explained that there are still no concrete proposals to raise the level of representatives of the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations.
"The idea was discussed during a telephone conversation [between the presidents of Russia and the US], then it was touched upon during the talks in Anchorage. The Americans told us that they will also discuss this issue among themselves and then come up with some specific proposals.“
When asked whether these proposals already exist, Ushakov answered in the negative.
"No. So far, what is being broadcast in the press is not exactly what we agreed on. Now they are talking about a trilateral meeting, a meeting between Putin and Zelensky. But specifically, as far as I know, there was no agreement between Putin and Trump on this“, the diplomat points out.
