The meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff has already ended, Ukrinform reported, citing presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov, BTA reports.
“The President met with Witkoff. At the moment, the meeting has already ended“, Nikiforov said.
The talks were held within the framework of the “Coalition of the Willing“ summit at the Elysee Palace in Paris, chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Zelensky and Witkoff are among the participants in the forum.
Meanwhile, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala stressed that Ukraine's allies are unanimous in the need to continue intensive assistance to Kiev. According to him, a sustainable peace requires strong security guarantees.
“We need to continue the pressure on Russia in order to create the conditions for a just and sustainable peace,“ Fiala said after the talks in Paris, which took place both in person and online.
