Sweden will purchase portable anti-aircraft missile systems “Pjörun“ (“Perun“) from Poland for three billion kronor (approximately 530 million leva), the Minister of Defense of the Scandinavian kingdom, Pál Jónsson, announced on the social network “Ex“, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.

The number of purchased installations is not specified, TASS notes.

This is the third major purchase of air defense assets in Sweden in the last few months. Two other agreements were announced this summer, totaling 10.5 billion kronor (about 1.86 billion leva).
