These are new levels of escalation! Volodymyr Zelensky called for real consequences for the Kremlin

Volodymyr Zelensky warns that the entry of drones into Polish airspace is a "new level of escalation", British journalists from Sky News report.

In a statement, the Ukrainian leader said that "at least eight strike drones" were directed at Poland.

"Today there was another step of escalation - Russian-Iranian "shaheeds" operated in Polish airspace, in NATO airspace. This cannot be called an incident – "We are talking about at least eight strike drones aimed at Poland," Zelensky said, calling for real consequences for Russia.

"The pause in sanctions has lasted too long. Postponing restrictions against Russia and its accomplices only means increasing the severity of the strikes," he added.

Following today's attack by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory, there has been an unprecedented violation of Polish airspace by "drone-type objects."
