Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski condemned the incursion of more than 10 drones into the country's airspace and called it an "unprecedented attack not only on Polish territory, but also on NATO territory", DPA reported, BTA reported.

Russian charge d'affaires in Warsaw Andrey Ordas was summoned this afternoon to the Polish Foreign Ministry, where he was handed a note of protest, Sikorski also told journalists.

Ordas denied drones were Russian.

"If there was an admission of guilt, that would be progress, but we would prefer the Russians not to send drones", commented Sikorski.

The minister noted that Poland's air defense and security systems had "functioned well". "Everyone did their part of the job. This is an enemy that brutally attacks our neighbors, so I won't lie and say it can't get worse", the Polish foreign minister continued.

Sikorski stressed that what Poland experienced last night was "experienced almost every night on a much larger and more tragic scale" by neighboring Ukraine.
