A Palestinian from East Jerusalem stabbed several guests at a hotel outside the city. This is the second armed attack this week, Israeli police said, quoted by the Associated Press, writes BTA.
Israeli paramedics said they evacuated two men, approximately 50 and 25 years old, stabbed in the torso, with the older man in critical condition.
Israeli police said they had already arrested the attacker, who was first tackled to the ground by an off-duty police officer who was staying with his family at the hotel when the attack occurred. Other guests also helped hold the attacker until police arrived.
The armed attack came just days after a shooting that killed six people. It was carried out by two Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, with the Islamist group "Hamas" claiming responsibility for the attack.
The war between Israel and "Hamas" has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians and sparked growing clashes in Israel and the West Bank, the AP recalled.
