Ferrari proves once again that it doesn't just follow trends, it creates them. The legendary brand from Maranello has presented the F76 – not exactly a concept car, but a radical design manifesto that symbolically connects the glorious past with the technological future of the "dark horses". This futuristic digital machine marks two important triumphs: the third consecutive victory of the Ferrari 499P in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the anniversary of the Scuderia's first victory in this historic race in 1949. The number 76 in the name is an elegant nod to these 76 years of journey.

Now, under the leadership of the incomparable Flavio Manzoni – the brains behind the beauty of models such as the LaFerrari and the Roma – the Ferrari Style Centre has created a machine with a structure never seen before. The F76 ditches the traditional monocoque and replaces it with two separate cockpits, called “fusels“. This dual architecture is not just an aesthetic gimmick, but has a fundamental aerodynamic significance: it optimizes airflow, directing it through a central channel directly to the rear of the body.

To achieve maximum efficiency, engineers used generative artificial intelligence to calculate the geometry of the body, as well as the massive front and rear wings. The result is a super-complex diffuser shape that generates colossal downforce, ensuring that form follows function flawlessly.

Despite its radical exterior, the concept manages to retain the characteristic elegance and sense of pure, unbridled power that are synonymous with Ferrari. The front end features aggressive features reminiscent of the Ferrari F80 hypercar, including a massive splitter and vertical sidewalls.

We should also note the nostalgic references: the square wheel arches and retractable headlights are a direct nod to classic icons such as the Ferrari F40. The taillights are ingeniously integrated into the huge wing, transforming it into a single, dramatic light unit.

The shared driving experience – a revolution in the interior

However, the real revolution lies in the interior. The F76 is the first Ferrari concept designed for two drivers – each in their own, separate cockpit. Thanks to modern drive-by-wire technology (electronic control without a mechanical connection), the steering is fully synchronized.

Ferrari explains that this configuration opens up a new philosophy of driving: it allows both passengers to simultaneously experience the dynamics, share emotions in real time and immerse themselves much deeper in the technical process of driving. It is an emotional and technical co-experience that takes the partnership on the road to a new level.

Digital platform and NFT future

Although the F76 exists solely as a digital hypercar, it is likely to be based on an electric platform similar to the one that Ferrari is preparing for its first production electric car in 2026.

Last but not least, the F76 was also presented as Ferrari's first digital car in NFT format. This completely virtual model exists within the Ferrari Hyperclub program. Club members will have the opportunity to acquire their own personalized F76, modify it and become owners of a unique token. In this way, Ferrari not only supports its fan community, but also raises funds that help finance its racing program in the World Endurance Championship, including Le Mans.
