KIA decided to give its absolute favorite Sportage a more mature and mysterious look. The new special version Black Edition is a real exercise in style, which abandons chrome details to embrace the deep black color. The result is a crossover that exudes restrained power and premium presence without being intrusive.
The appearance of the model has been transformed through a delicate but categorical intervention. The radiator grille, mirror housings, roof rails and even the protective elements on the sills are dipped in dark lacquer. The dark theme is completed by alloy wheels, available in sizes from 17 to 19 inches, which, in combination with the heavily tinted windows and the option of a contrasting black roof, give the car a completely new silhouette.
Entering the cabin, you immediately feel the desire for technological luxury. The black ceiling envelops the interior, creating a cozy, almost intimate atmosphere. However, attention is drawn to the huge panoramic display, which combines two 12.3-inch screens - one for the instrument panel and one for the infotainment system. However, for those looking for serious dynamics, the real “athletes” in the range are prepared - a full hybrid (HEV) with 239 hp and the flagship PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid), generating an impressive 288 hp. Both options offer the flexibility of the 4x4 drive.
The KIA Sportage Black Edition is expected to appear in showrooms in the second half of 2026. Although the final price lists are still in preparation, we can expect the starting point to be slightly above the current 35,400 euros, which is the base standard for the model on the European market. This is an offer for drivers who want to stand out in city traffic, choosing the classic of black in a modern package.
