An image of the new Opel Frontera has appeared on the Internet. We have already informed you that the famous model will soon be revived in a new format - it will make its official debut on April 9 and replace the Opel Crossland.
The new Opel Frontera SUV has a more solid appearance than the Crossland. It has a tall front hood, massive bumpers, thick rear roof pillars and flared fenders. The front part is made in the style of Opel Vizor - with a black insert between the headlights.
The new Opel Frontera 2024 will be built on the Smart Car Platform architecture, similar to the new Citroen e-C3 and Fiat Panda. It will be larger than its predecessor - about 4.3 meters in length. A seven-seater version of the model is also possible.
The Opel Frontera crossover is expected to be offered in an electric version with a power of 156 hp. with a 54 kWh battery and a single charge range of around 400 km. However, there will also be a hybrid version with 136 horsepower, mainly coming from a 1.2-liter turbo engine.
As you know, the first Opel Frontera was produced from 1991 to 2004. During this period, the brand launched two generations on the market, both of which were on the frame. Now that will change, as the new crossover will be completely different.
