Toyota RAV4 became the brand's best-selling crossover last year. In addition, for the first quarter of 2024, sales increased by 47% compared to the same period of the previous year.
This sounds strange, but it is a fact, as the current generation of the RAV4 was introduced in 2018. It is true that the crossover received a restyling in 2021, but it can certainly be said that the life cycle of the model is coming to an end.
The RAV4's success can also be explained by its attractive price: the price of the base model in the US starts at $28,675, and the top hybrid version costs $43,690. In our country, this is not exactly the case, but nevertheless this crossover sells well also in Bulgaria.
After the Japanese automaker introduced the new Land Cruiser Prado, 4Runner and Tacoma, it is rumored that Toyota will soon reveal the new generation RAV4. At least that's what the author of the YouTube channel Evren Ozgun Spy Sketch thinks.
The author decided not to use the design of the new SUV cars recently presented by Toyota, but instead took inspiration from the appearance of the current generation of the Prius model. The designer gives the crossover hidden door handles, a beveled rear window and original rims.
In addition, the RAV4 in the artist's rendering also gets interesting optics that are a bit reminiscent of the C-HR model. In general, there is no official confirmation from Toyota that the company is preparing a new generation crossover. However, we will be able to learn more information about this very soon, and until then - see the video with the fantasies of the independent designer.
