Kia is preparing to debut its first pickup truck, but before the company lays out the model in its full glory, it has chosen to present it wrapped in colored camouflage foil.
The design is no surprise, as we have already seen several prototypes on the streets of the US and Korea, confirming the ridged shapes and “tough” vision. At the moment, we don't know what the pickup will look like inside, but we expect it to follow the style of the brand's other models from recent years.
Although specific technical details are scarce, reports suggest the Tasman will debut a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine borrowed from the Sorento, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. While the more powerful six-cylinder engine and hybrid options remain uncertain, Kia has committed to launch
