The electric hatchback Renault 5 E-Tech received the first special version with the prefix Roland Garros in the name. The model will make its public debut during the French Open, which will be held from May 20 to June 9.
"Tennis" version will feature special body colors. Shades of Midnight Blue, Starry Black, Pearl White and exclusive Matt Slate Gray are available for it. They are combined with a roof with satin black trim and chrome inserts. The limited electric hatchback is mounted on 18-inch Ecrou alloy wheels.
There are Roland Garros logos on the exterior panels, and the same inscriptions can be found in the interior of the electric car. They are on the doors and seats, on the upholstery made of recycled textiles. The speed lever is made in the form of a tennis racket handle.
The charging slot of the smartphone has acquired an interesting color. It has red clay mixed in to give it the special nuance of clay courts. The Renault 5 E-Tech is available with three power units, but it is not known which of them will go to the special version for Roland Garros.
